Job Summary

• Role: Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).

• Type: Full-time, on-site.

• Location: Bradenton, FL.

• Availability: Immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Evaluate and manage acute and subacute conditions for patients ages 6 months and older.

• Clinical Practice: Obtain medical histories, perform focused physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.

• Urgent Procedures: Perform common procedures such as wound care, splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.

• Management & Teamwork: Prescribe medications, provide clear patient education, document encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and collaborate with the team or coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.

Key Qualifications

• Licenses: Current PA or NP license in the State of Florida with appropriate national certification.

• Experience: Background in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care (including pediatric experience for 6+ months).

• Skills:

  • Strong clinical assessment and urgent procedure capabilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Excellent, empathetic communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and timely documentation.

• Additional Assets: Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory care; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly valued.
